Worksheets aren't preparation.
We started Catalyst because we noticed something: most tutoring companies give students worksheets and call it preparation. We didn't think that was good enough.
Our approach is straightforward. We get through the content early, usually around six weeks before school finishes it. Then we spend those six weeks doing what actually moves the needle: past papers, topic by topic, compiled from every WACE, WATP, and WAEP exam that exists. Students don't save papers for later. They do all of them. Then when WACE comes, they do our exclusive Catalyst practice exams.
Our Core Philosophy
We minimise time spent on textbooks. The brain doesn't retain information by reading, it retains it by actively doing. So we maximise time spent on past papers and real exam questions, the kind of active engagement that actually pushes knowledge into long term memory. By the time a student walks into their real exam, they've already seen harder questions.
We find weaknesses and go after them. Repeated exposure to hard exam questions, not comfort zone work. We're not trying to be the biggest tutoring company. We're trying to be the one that actually works.

Why We Started
Good guidance makes a difference.
Getting a high ATAR takes more than knowing the content. It means knowing how to study, how to respond to unfamiliar questions, and how to show what you know when the clock is running.
We created Catalyst so students could get help directly from people who have achieved some of the highest results in those same exams. We want to pass on the study techniques, preparation habits and exam strategies behind those results, in a way students can actually use.
Our goal is to help students refine how they learn, understand where they're losing marks, and walk into exams with a plan. Whether you're working towards a 99 ATAR or trying to find your feet in a difficult subject, you deserve support that takes your goals seriously.
